The Body Pod is a lightweight, rigid and comfortable support system for use with the Steadishot 3000 & 5000, Flycam 3000 & 5000, Glidecam 2000 and 4000.  The Body Pod allows the entire weight of the SteadiShot system, including your camera and accessories, to be supported by your torso and shoulders, rather than your hands and arms.

The Body-Pod allows you to shoot in cushioned comfort for indefinite periods of time. Stress and fatigue are virtually eliminated, allowing you the freedom to shoot events that require uninterrupted shooting.

Results obtained from shooting with the SteadiShot attached to the rigid support of the Body Pod are far superior to the results obtained with unstabilized, hand-held shooting or shoulder supported shooting. 

The Body-Pod is designed to allow you to quickly slide the handle of any of the Glidecam or SteadiShot systems on and off its rigid support, so you can quickly switch back and forth between hand-held stabilized shooting and body mounted stabilized shooting.

Snap and clip military style, durable fasteners allow the operator to put together or take apart the system in a matter of moments. While it does not have the shock absorbing capabilities of articulating arm systems, it still offers a suitable alternative where price is a consideration. The ability to mount and dismount the sled from the Body Pod provides for more dramatic shots simply removing the device and using the grip when necessary.

The Body Pod will fit any body size due to its long straps and waist belt.
