This is a Pro Battery Grip for the NIKON D5100/5200 DSLR Camera. The vertical shutter release accommodates for when shooting in the vertical orientation to give comfortable and steady shooting. A number of functions are made available when shooting in this orientation. Adds stability to the camera, you will need to connect the cable to the camera (included) & batteries (not included) before u attach grip to the camera.

In this professional edition, it also features a on/off button and tripod socket..

ATTACHING TO THE CAMERA: 

• -Remove the battery from the camera.
• -Detach the camera's battery compartment cover.
• -Insert the detached cover into its storage slot to ensure that it will not be lost.
• -Remove the attachment screw with the camera's tripod socket, and then turn the attach/detach knob to tighten securely to the camera.
