The Zoom H2n handheld SD recorder features five microphones and a list of recording options to create a pocket-sized recording studio. The Zoom H2n Handy Recorder can record in conventional X/Y stereo, 2-channel and 4-channel 360-degree surround sound, and Mid-Side MS stereo to adjust the stereo spread after you've recorded. The Zoom H2n Handy Recorder will appeal to singer songwriters, bands, filmers, broadcasters, journalists, podcasters, as well as recording live music and samples.
The Zoom H2n Handy Recorder records to SD and SDHC media cards, with over 50 hours of 16-bit 44.kHz WAV format recording to a 32GB SDHC card. In 128kbps MP3 format the Zoom H2n Handy Recorder records a massive 555 hours of stereo recording. The Zoom H2n Handy Recorder ships with a 2GB SD card.
The Zoom H2n Handy Recorder is incredibly easy to use. You can access all of the Zoom H2n recorder's most important functions from the front panel. Even switching from Mid-Side stereo mode to 360-degree surround sound mode just takes a twist of a dial. Recording with the H2n couldn't be simpler. Even if the Zoom H2n Handy Recorder loses power in the middle of recording, its auto recovery mode will restore recorded data, as soon as you power it back up. And the Zoom H2n Handy Recorder comes equipped with an onboard compressor/limiter, and an analogue gain circuit, protecting recordings from digital clipping.
Other features of the Zoom H2n Handy Recorder include a USB 2.0 port for transfering recordings to a PC or Mac computer and also allows the Zoom H2n recorder to function as a USB microphone, a built-in monitor speaker, 1/8-inch stereo headphone output,and 1.8-inch backlit LCD 128 x 64 display. Various playback functions make the Zoom H2n Handy Recorder ideal for practicing music: tuner, metronome, Variable Speed Playback adjusts the playback speed between 50% and 150% of the original, Key Control adjusts the pitch, and the AB Repeat functions to loop a desired part. Use the Zoom H2n Handy Recorder as a music player supporting playback of a single track or all tracks in a folder once or repeatedly. The Zoom H2n Handy Recorder will run for over 20 hours of continuous operation on two standard AA alkaline batteries, and can be powered by an optional AC adapter.
The Zoom H2n Handy Recorder supports the BWF Broadcast Wave Format where audio files can be date/time stamped and feature up to 99 track mark cue points for file management in broadcast and pro audio applications.
The Zoom H2n Handy Recorder ships bundled with Steinberg's Wavelab LE 7 recording software, so you're ready to record, mix, and master projects, right out of the box.
